A Classic Charlotte Bundform Pan

When we were growing up one of our favorite treats was angel food cake. I don’t know what it is about this cake, but it was perfect. Sweet and airy, we loved to cover it in strawberry topping and whipped cream. Or sometimes we’d make the slices really thin and fill them with ice cream to make the most delicious ice cream sandwiches!  Actually I still love angel food cake to this day and we still make it a lot at our home. We just made it at Easter and it was everyone’s favorite dessert. Of course it looked extra special because I baked it in my new Kaiser La Forme Charlotte Bundform Pan.

This is by far my favorite cake pan. I first saw it when it was featured in Good Housekeeping Magazine and I made note of it for a future purchase. When I finally bought it I was very impressed with the quality.  This steel cake pan features a double-layer nonstick interior that makes it so easy to slide you cake out of the pan perfectly.  As a result your desserts end up looking like they came from an expensive bakery! But even more importantly, because the pan cooks the food so evenly, the cake tastes wonderful too.
