I’ve had those “small” filters for our kitchen for filtering our water. They work great, but my wife and I were talking about the rest of the house. I was commenting that my dark color golf shirts look real dingy after a few washes. She suggested I take them to the dry cleaners, but I said “no way” because of the cost involved. They carry a filter called a Aquasana EQ-300 Rhino whole house filter.

OK, what’s so great about this filter?  Well, first it requires no electricity! No back flushing either. It’s a simple, high quality Underwriters Laboratories certified  filter that will last 300,000 gallons of water or 3 years.  It cost a lot less than all of the others too! We got our Aquasana EQ-300 at their discounted price of $799! We had our plumber set it up for a couple of hundred dollars. Works great and no more chlorine in our water throughout the house.
