Bastard Sword – The Perfect Hybrid

Hanwei’s Bastard Sword is a very detailed replica of originally German and Swedish classic sword that eventually became very familiar to the eyes of the Dark Ages of Europe. This sword evidently got its name from the simple fact that it was intended to be a hybrid of a single-hand sword and a two-handed sword. As a result the design made it difficult to strictly classify this weapon either way.

Paul Chen’s replica of the Bastard sword exudes flawless quality all throughout weapon which is over 50” in length, comprising of a blade over 30 inches long and weighing a total of 3lb.

This particular Bastard sword features a well balanced weapon overall along with an antique patina finish. It also comes with a scabbard.

Of course, one of the best things about it is that the sword is officially licensed by Paul Chen, which in itself is a guarantee that this sword is of great quality. As such, the sword becomes ideal for both for display by real Medieval swordscollectors as well as use by re-enactors.
