My wife and I have been in a discussion for a little over a year about how much and what, outside of flowers, shrubs, vegetables and herbs need to be in a garden.  I admit I am a minimalist and have felt that you don’t need all the trinkets in the flower pots, etc to have a functional garden.  Then 2 months ago I found this awesome Buddha bust that would look killer out in one of our small flowerbeds and I felt like we really needed this garden decoration to set this area apart from the rest.  My wife agreed and we now own a Buddha bust that lives out in the yard.

However, now that we have this in the yard, it’s like our outside area is calling for more lawn and garden décor!  It’s crazy.  I’ve become my wife’s best shopping buddy as we look for everything that could go in the yard or garden.  Funny thing is; I’m really enjoying it!  I now understand how just the right piece in the right place can enhance the entire look of your yard.  It’s great.
