Give Your Family The Royal Treatment With Chicken Ala King

Even though this dish has been around a long time, I’ll never get tired of it.  Now that I have a Crock Pot Chicken Ala King recipe that is every bit as good as my old skillet recipe, we’ll be enjoying it more often.  The recipe is pretty easy and basic, so once you get it in the crock pot, you might want to put together a batch of homemade biscuits to serve it over.  That’s a really nice touch that everyone enjoys.  You can also toast up some nice, thick and crunchy bread.  Just butter the slices and put them under the broiler until they brown.

You can put together a Chicken Ala King recipe on the stove top, but with most recipes that call for canned soup for liquid, the longer and slower you cook it, the more the soup incorporates into all the other flavors.  That’s why crockpot recipes are sometimes better than stove top recipes.  Besides, you can walk away from the crock pot to go play with the kids and not worry about your dinner burning to the bottom of the pan!
