The Dead Weight Ball Is An Alternative To Medicine Balls

Now here is a piece of fitness equipment that actually feels like the medicine balls you may have used long ago back in school. The Dead Weight Ball is soft, squeezable, sand filled and color-coded. Call it the modern day medicine ball. A Dead Weight Ball is ideal for exercises where rebounding or bouncing is not desired. It’s easy to catch and throw and if you have space in your home use it along with a medicine ball rebounder. This way you do not need a workout partner. The rebounder helps you workout alone.

These fitness balls vary in weights from 4lbs to 12lbs. Ball workouts develop power stability and joint integrity. You’ll build muscle strength, and your endurance will increase. Simple upper body workouts will help define better muscle tone. Try holding the ball against your chest while doing some abdominal crunches. See how more demanding core workouts will be.

Now try holding the ball against your chest while standing up and throwing the ball up into the air then catching it. It may not be the same as doing bench presses with metal weights but can you walk and do presses with a barbell and weights? You can’t can you? The Dead Weight Ball just gives your workouts more flexibility.
